Most of what we do is in houses, a lot of them older than the wiring codes they were built under.

The details

Labeled, so the next person knows

A finished panel should tell you what it controls. The directory gets filled in before we leave. It takes a few extra minutes and saves whoever opens it next a lot of guessing.

It's a small thing. It's also the difference between a panel you can work on and one you have to figure out first.

How a job usually goes

No mystery to it. You call the office, we come look at what you have, and you know what to expect before anyone starts pulling wire.

  1. Call the office

    Janet or Genia answers Monday through Friday, 8 to 5. Tell them what the building is and what it's doing.

  2. We come look

    For anything beyond a simple repair, someone comes out and sees the panel and the conditions in person.

  3. You know what to expect

    Service calls are billed by the hour. On larger jobs we go over the scope first, and if the work grows once we're into it, you'll hear about that before we continue.

  4. We do the work

    Permitted and inspected where the job calls for it, and cleaned up behind us.
